Delhi Latest News: A two-day orientation (training) program was organized for the newly elected MLAs in the Delhi Assembly. In this program, experts informed the MLAs about the rules of the proceedings of the Assembly. They were also taught how they can raise the issues of their area in the Assembly in the right manner?

Delhi Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht said that this program is very important for the newly elected MLAs. He said that the budget session of the Assembly is going to start from March 24, 2025, so a training program was organized to explain the rules and regulations of the Assembly to the MLAs. So that there is no chaos during the session.

Deputy Speaker of Delhi Assembly Mohan Singh Bisht said that in the program, the MLAs were made aware of the rule book. They were told how they can raise the problems of their area in the assembly.

Refusal to comment on non-appearance of opposition MLAs 

When Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht was asked why opposition MLAs were not seen in the training program, Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht said, "I do not want to comment on this, but this program is very useful for the MLAs. This has given them an opportunity to understand and learn the process of the assembly."
