Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's son Kartikeya is getting married to Amanat Bansal on March 06 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the Bansal family reached Jodhpur by chartered plane to prepare for the wedding.

Talking to the media at the airport, Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that it is my son's wedding. We have come to bring our daughter. My daughter-in-law has chosen Jodhpur for the wedding. Now we are in Jodhpur for four days.
