The actor whom Mithun Da had ragged was none other than Shakti Kapoor, one of the best villains of Bollywood.Perhaps it is difficult to believe this seeing the kind of actor Shakti Kapoor is, but while talking on RJ Anmol's chat show, 'Raja Babu' Nandu himself told this story.Shakti Kapoor narrated this interesting anecdote of FTII and said, "When we reached Pune Institute from Khandala, there was a boy standing at the gate wearing a dhoti which had holes in it. I offered him a cold beer. He touched the feet of Pramod Khanna and Rakesh and said, 'No, I don't drink.' After that, when they stood up and shook hands, he told me that his name is Mithun Chakraborty."

"When Pramod ji and others left, Mithun ji took me to a room and said that you asked me if I would like to drink beer, I am your senior, come inside the room. He closed the lights and the gate and singers Rahul Dev and Vijendra Ghatke were already there. All three made me sit down, put up a spotlight and actingly asked if I would like to drink beer. They poured me a beer. They cut off half of my hair and made me bald in some places. All three of them ragged me. This went on all night and in the morning, leaving me in my room, they said that don't open the door now because you don't know what will happen to you".

Mithun Chakraborty later felt pity for Shakti Kapoor

The actor further said, "Later Mithun Chakraborty felt sorry for me. He left me in the room and locked it from outside. I could hear the sound of shoes in the room all day long, where did he go, some people said he went to Delhi. I could hear everything, but if I had opened the lock, I don't know what would have happened to me.

After this incident, I slowly became friends with Mithun Chakraborty." Shakti Kapoor also told that at that time Mithun Chakraborty's physique was also very good.
