Delhi CM Atishi: After Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi, Atishi Marlena took oath as Chief Minister on Saturday. Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena administered the oath of office and secrecy to Atishi at Raj Niwas. After taking oath, Atishi has become the third woman Chief Minister of Delhi. Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav's younger daughter-in-law and BJP leader Aparna Yadav has congratulated Atishi on becoming the CM.
On Atishi taking oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi, BJP leader Aparna Yadav said, “I congratulate her, there is very little time left for the Delhi elections. Earlier she was the Water Minister in the Delhi Government, but the condition of Yamuna in Delhi is not hidden from anyone. Only time will tell what she will do as the Chief Minister, but I think that in the coming elections, the people of Delhi will decide whom to give power to. I will only tell her to do good work.”
Atishi met Kejriwal before taking oath
Let us tell you that before taking oath as CM, Atishi had reached the residence of Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal to meet him. Earlier on Tuesday evening, Atishi had met the Lieutenant Governor at Raj Niwas along with Kejriwal and staked claim to form the government. In the Delhi government led by Atishi, senior Aam Aadmi Party leaders Gopal Rai, Mukesh Ahlawat, Imran Hussain, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Kailash Gehlot took oath as ministers.

After taking oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi, Atishi has appealed to the people to elect Arvind Kejriwal once again in the next elections. She said that if Arvind Kejriwal is not elected, then BJP will make the condition of the people of Delhi worse, they will neither get free electricity nor free water. Arvind Kejriwal is my elder brother, my Guru.
