New Delhi. Weather Update: Monsoon rains are bringing great relief to people in entire North India including Delhi-NCR. However, the humid heat is also increasing after the rain. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains this week in many states including Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, Kerala, Goa, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. At the same time, the risk of landslide has also increased after rain in Uttarakhand and Himachal. 

IMD issues red and orange alert for these states

According to the press release of the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Kerala and Mahe, coastal and south interior Karnataka during the next 5 days. At the same time, during July 14-16 this week, rain will trouble people in Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka and south interior Karnataka. The Meteorological Department has issued red and orange alerts for all these states. 

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR today?

Humid heat persists in Delhi-NCR even after the rain. The sun was shining since morning on Sunday, due to which the temperature also increased. However, the weather in Delhi may be a little pleasant on Monday. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain today. Many areas will remain cloudy and it may also rain. Today the maximum temperature of Delhi can be 36 and the minimum temperature can be 28 degrees. 

How is the weather in Bihar-UP?

The humid heat after the rain is troubling the people of UP a lot. However, light rain may occur in the eastern districts on Monday. According to the weather department forecast, it will be cloudy on Monday, due to which the maximum and minimum temperatures will increase. Talking about the weather of Bihar, there is a possibility of scattered rainfall in different areas of the state including Patna today. At the same time, there may be rain with thunder in Kishanganj district. A yellow alert has been issued for here. 

Will rain bring more trouble in Himachal Pradesh?

According to the Meteorological Department, on Monday, most places in the state are likely to have clear weather or cloudy weather at some places. There may be rain at one or two places. The maximum temperature of Shimla will be 24 and the minimum temperature will be 17 degrees Celsius. At the same time, light rain is expected in Uttarakhand till July 17. On Saturday, the temperature here was recorded at 33.9 degrees Celsius. However, rain is still continuing in many districts including Almora, Uttarakashi, Pithoragarh, and Chamoli.
