Delhi Crime News: Delhi Police has recovered the car stolen from Ashok Vihar. Ruby Sharma's new Kia Seltos car was stolen from outside her house on the night of March 12. An e-FIR was registered at Ashok Vihar police station. Inspector Kuldeep Singh understood that the crime was committed by a cunning gang. A special police team was formed. CCTV footage was collected from the crime scene. The special team worked day and night to uncover the car theft case.

During investigation, the car was found to be present on the Assam border. The police team, without wasting any time, laid a trap at the Najiakhat check post in Morigaon. A white Kia Seltos car reached the border. The police, who were lying in wait, caught two people. The suspects were identified as Nagmaitham Bishorjit Singh and Oinam Umakant Singh. On searching, duplicate keys, fake number plates and two mobile phones were found from both of them. The chats in the mobile surprised the police even more.

Vehicle theft gang busted

The location pins sent on WhatsApp, pictures of new targets and planning of the next victim were pointing towards a big network. The interrogation of both of them revealed shocking things. They told that they have sold five luxury cars so far. The car thieves had connections with Sagolsam Johnson Singh, a notorious supplier from the Northeast.

The stolen vehicles were supplied to Bangladesh and Myanmar. The police have suspected that the cars were also used by terrorists and Naxalite networks. The roots of the vehicle theft gang's network are spread from Delhi to Manipur. Inspector Kuldeep Singh's team is now engaged in dismantling the network.
