Mining giant Vedanta has released a business update for the third quarter (Q3) of FY 2025. The company has said in an exchange filing that its aluminium production grew 3 per cent year-on-year in the third quarter. While on a quarterly basis, it has seen an increase of 1 per cent, reaching 614kt. The company said that during this period there was no change in saleable metal on an annual basis, while on a quarterly basis it fell 1 per cent to 259 kt. Mine metal production has increased by 3 per cent in the third quarter.
The company said that Zinc International volumes grew 12 per cent year-on-year in the quarter, while it grew 6 per cent quarterly, which stood at 46 kt. The company said that refined zinc production grew 3 per cent in the third quarter. Share performance Vedanta's stock closed 1.69 per cent higher at Rs 457.35 on Friday. In the last one year, the company's stock has seen a growth of 73.37 per cent.
