Major negligence of the health department has come to light in Lucknow. Here a woman had gone to get her three-month-old child vaccinated, but the ANM nurse present there vaccinated the mother instead of the child. When the mother asked to vaccinate the child, the nurse also vaccinated the child with the same injection.  

According to the information, a major negligence has come to light at Aliganj Primary Health Center in Lucknow. A woman from Madiyav had come here to get her three-month-old son vaccinated. For this, he first got a prescription made from the OPD, on which the doctor wrote for the vaccination of the child. 

The nurse gave the injection to the mother instead of the child.

A woman named Shipra went to the vaccine room with that slip. Where the slip was given to the ANM nurse. However, the nurse was so busy that she did not even look at the slip to see who was to be vaccinated. The nurse gave the injection to the mother instead of the child, however when the woman shook her hand, the injection entered her hand and blood came out.

After this there was a huge uproar at the health centre. Later, when the nurse was asked to vaccinate the child, she vaccinated the child with the same old injection. The family members have lodged a written complaint regarding this matter. The hospital administration has said that action will be taken after investigating the matter.
