According to the data of the Forest Department, every year thousands of hectares of forest area are destroyed by fire, which not only causes huge damage to the environment but also poses a threat to wildlife and local communities. To effectively deal with this problem, the Uttarakhand Forest Department has developed a state-of-the-art forest fire application, which will ensure rapid response by immediately detecting incidents of forest fire.

Many cutting-edge technologies like real-time monitoring and quick alert system have been used in this application developed by the Forest Department. This will enable the Forest Department teams to get immediate information about the fire and they will be able to reach there on time and extinguish the fire.

The application has an alert system
A state-of-the-art alert system has been installed in this application, which immediately sends information to the concerned forest workers as soon as a forest fire breaks out. Based on the intensity and location of the fire, this information is given to the forest department officials and field teams so that they can respond immediately.
