UP Politics: Politics continues on the police post being built in front of Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has claimed that the police post is being built on Waqf land. At the same time, the administration says that his claim is wrong. Meanwhile, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party national president and Uttar Pradesh government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has given a befitting reply to Owaisi.
On Owaisi's allegations, Rajbhar asked whether Owaisi has all the Khasra Khatauni of the Waqf Board? That land belongs to the Municipal Corporation. The District Magistrate is the owner of that land, so he can tell about that land. How does Owaisi know about that land? And let's assume for a moment that the land belongs to the Waqf Board, then the outpost is being built to maintain peace there.
The cabinet minister said that this is being built to maintain peace in the area. Till yesterday, the allegation was that the police reaches later so the police is building a post there for security purposes. This should be welcomed but people have made up their mind that if they want to protest, what can be done.
Owaisi had made this claim.
On the police post under construction in Sambhal, Owaisi claimed that such and such post is being built on Waqf land. Apart from this, any kind of construction is prohibited near protected buildings. PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath are responsible for the current horrific atmosphere in Sambhal.
Violence broke out in Sambhal on 24 November last year. In which four youths died. Since then politics is going on on this issue.
