Badaun.  The new DM of the district Nidhi Srivastava reached the treasury here on Sunday evening and took charge. She said that there will be a zero-tolerance policy on corruption. Development works will be completed on priority. The benefits of the schemes will be extended to the person standing at the last rung.

Nidhi Shrivastava, IAS officer of the 2014 batch, had earlier worked as a city magistrate here in the year 2013. She has worked on various posts including Additional District Magistrate Administration in Bulandshahr district, Additional District Magistrate City in Lucknow, Additional District Magistrate Administration in Agra, Additional Director Mandi Parishad, and Additional Chief Election Officer Uttar Pradesh State Election Commission Lucknow. She was a PCS officer of the year 1999.

After taking charge, he held an informal meeting with the district officials in the Collectorate and said that whatever problems are there in the district, they will be resolved on priority. The state government intends that development works should be given priority and the benefits of the schemes should reach the person standing at the last rung. He said that this would be his priority too.

Discussion on development work

DM discussed development works with CDO Keshav Kumar. He inquired about revenue and tax-related works with ADM and all SDMs. Earlier, on his arrival at the Collectorate, he was given a guard of honor near the treasury.
