Allahabad High Court :  Allahabad High Court has granted bail to a Bangladeshi woman living illegally in India. The woman is accused of staying in Kanpur with her family even after her visa expired.

The police had sent the accused woman Hina Rizwan to jail along with her husband and children. Apart from other accused in this case, the police had also filed a chargesheet against former MLA Irfan Solanki and a councilor. After the bail plea was rejected by the Sessions Court, she had filed a petition for bail in the High Court.Justice Rajiv Mishra has given this order. Senior advocate Anoop Trivedi, who is representing the petitioner, said that the petitioner has five small children. Of which three are girls. In this case, bail of the petitioner's three children has already been approved.

The petitioner and her husband have been in jail for more than one and a half years. He has no criminal history. A case was registered against the petitioner Hina Rizwan on 11 December 2022 at the Moolganj police station in Kanpur city under sections of fraud, preparing fake documents, criminal conspiracy and Foreigners Act.
It is alleged that Hina was married to Bangladeshi citizen Rizwan Mohammad. After this she went to Bangladesh and took citizenship there. She came to India from Bangladesh on a visa. The visa was valid till 2018. Even after this, she stayed in India on the basis of fake documents.
The court said that the petitioner is a woman and she is also the mother of three small girls. Bail has been granted to the other children named along with her. The court has ordered the release of the petitioner on bail with conditions.
