Raebareli. A case of making 19 thousand 184 fake birth certificates using the ID of the Village Development Officer (VDO) has come to light in Salon development block. At first the police did not take cognizance of the complaint, but after the reprimand from the SP, a case was registered late on Wednesday night. Looking at the seriousness of the case, the STF has interrogated the VDO and two accused.

Late in the evening, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) IG Neelabhja Chaudhary and IG Range Prashant Kumar II and District Magistrate Harshita Mathur also reached Salon and took information from the police officers. On the other hand, Vishwa Hindu Parishad is calling this incident a part of a conspiracy to make Bangladeshi infiltrators Indian citizens. The District Development Officer has suspended the accused Gram Vikas Adhikari Vijay Singh Yadav.

After the reprimand from the officers, the police registered a case  

Two days ago, the Gram Vikas Adhikari filed a complaint with the police against a Jan Suvidha Kendra operator for making thousands of fake birth and death certificates using his ID. The local police did not take the matter seriously and postponed the matter by saying that they would investigate. When the higher officials reprimanded, a case was registered against four accused on the complaint of Assistant Development Officer Panchayat Jitendra Singh late on Wednesday night.
 

Certificates found to be fake during investigation 

The names of Village Development Officer Vijay Singh Yadav, Centre Director Jishan, Suhail, Riyaz Khan have been included in the FIR. The ADO Panchayat has complained that during the online and offline birth certificate matching of three village panchayats, it was found that a large number of certificates were issued using the Village Development Officer's ID. The ADO Panchayat said that during the investigation, the certificates were found to be fake.
