
Jharkhand News: A truck loaded with cows was caught near Kulgo toll plaza in Giridih district of Jharkhand. With the help of villagers, the police succeeded in catching this container truck. The truck has been seized and all the cattle have been sent to the cowshed. According to the information, the container full of cattle was being taken to Bengal.
It is being told that the villagers caught a container truck full of cows near Kulgo Toll Plaza under Dungri police station area of Giridih district. After which the villagers informed the police. The police reached the spot and arrested the container driver, Khalasi and other associates. Along with this, the truck was seized and taken to the police station. The cows were sent to Pordag Gurutand Radhakrishna Gaushala. The police has started the further process.
The truck broke down near Kulgo toll plaza
According to the information, the container loaded with cows was going to Bengal, meanwhile the vehicle broke down near Kulgo toll plaza. Some people got suspicious and informed JLKM and VHP members about it. When people reached Dumri toll plaza, they found the container full of cows.
Demand for strict action against those involved in cow smuggling
State vice president of Sanyukt Sanatan Gau Raksha Vahini Sanjay Jaiswal was also informed about this. He also reached the toll plaza. He said that strict action should be taken against those involved in such activities. He also said that every day small and big illegal vehicles loaded with cows pass through NH-19, which needs to be stopped.
Appeal to arrange fodder for cattle
On the other hand, the Gaushala operator Dhaneshwar Mahato has appealed to the police administration to arrange fodder for the cattle. He says that due to not getting any support from any level and not being financially well off, there is a lot of difficulty in arranging fodder for more cows than the capacity.
