The process of action against Jamia Habibiya Madrasa of Prayagraj, which printed fake notes, is continuing. After sealing the madrasa due to illegal construction, now its three bank accounts have been seized. The bank accounts of the madrasa have been seized on the recommendation of the police team investigating the fake note printing case. By seizing the bank account, the police is trying to find out from where the madrasa was getting funding. Were the fake notes deposited in the bank account through other people?

 

Investigative agencies are gathering information about when and from where and how much money came to the madrasa. For this reason, the police has written a letter to the bank officials and asked for the transaction details. During police interrogation, the madrasa staff had informed that the madrasa has a total of three bank accounts. Information was given about having accounts in State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and Indian Bank. The details of all three bank accounts were recorded in the red register kept in the accountant's room. According to the madrasa staff, about 40 lakh rupees are deposited in all three bank accounts. 

 

105 children from different states were studying in this madrasa in Atrasuya area of ​​Prayagraj. Every month, about three and a half to four lakh rupees were spent on running the madrasa. Investigation agencies are trying to find out whether the madrasa was getting foreign funding. If the madrasa was running on donations, then who donated how much and in what way. Did the madrasa have any terrorist connection?

 

On August 28, the police raided the madrasa and caught a fake currency factory. After this, objectionable literature was also recovered from the madrasa. In a book written in Urdu language from the madrasa, RSS was described as the biggest terrorist organization of the country. The madrasa was running without the recognition of the UP Madrasa Board. Madrasa Jamia Habibiya Masjid-e-Azam was being run by just registering a society. The Minority Welfare Department has already recommended cancellation of the registration of the madrasa's society.

 

On Wednesday, Prayagraj Development Authority sealed the madrasa declaring it illegal. After sealing the madrasa, a notice has also been sent. If a satisfactory answer is not received regarding illegal construction, bulldozer action can also be taken. In the fake note factory case, the acting principal of the madrasa, Maulvi Maulana Tafseerul Arifin, the mastermind of the fake note Zahir Khan and two others have been arrested and sent to jail. The police have filed an application in the court to take the four accused on remand. If the remand application is approved by the court, the police will interrogate the accused. The police will interrogate the accused about printing fake notes, objectionable literature and foreign funding.
