It is noteworthy that India had earlier supplied 6 ATAGS guns. Impressed by its success, Armenia is preparing to buy 78 ATAGS guns from India. Armenia, which is embroiled in tension with Turkey's friend Azerbaijan, deployed India's first 6 ATAGS guns in various areas of the country, where it has demonstrated extraordinary capability and proved its mettle in Armenia's high altitude mountainous region and diverse types of plains. These tests confirmed the accurate targeting and reverse operational reliability of the guns at long distances.
Armenia may demand a special update
The Armenian Defense Ministry has sought feedback from its military personnel regarding ATAGS. So that the next batch of ATAGS guns can be further upgraded. Bharat Forge has installed a computer interface in the system keeping Armenia in mind, which operates in the Armenian language. Apart from this, it is expected that the Armenian army can suggest upgrades in the gun according to its specific requirements.
Armenia is crazy about these weapons of India
