Montgomery Mayor Steven L. Reed said in a statement that police and medical personnel responded to a report of gunfire about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. "More than 600 rounds of bullets were fired at a crowded party around midnight Sunday," Reed said. Nine people were injured.
None of the injured are in serious condition
At least four more people were injured in the chaos that followed the shooting. He said officers from the Montgomery Police Department, the FBI and other agencies were questioning witnesses and suspects. None of the injured were in critical condition.
