The weeping woman complained to the traffic police in-charge standing at Patel Tiraha Chowk. On receiving information about the deception of the woman, the Kotwali police also reached there.

TSI Ramjatan Yadav was running a campaign at Patel Tiraha. Meanwhile, a woman reached there crying with her son. The woman told her name as Mamta Devi who is a resident of Pyarepur of Safdarganj police station area. She told the police that she reached near the bus stand. During this time she met a boy. The boy gave her a bundle packed in paper and said that there are notes in it. Take out sixty thousand from it and give it to him.

 

The boy told the woman entangled in the bundle of currency notes that there are miscreants roaming around here so she should take off her mangalsutra and ear tops. Then the boy kept the jewellery in a handkerchief and gave it to him and after that he disappeared. When the woman opened the bundle, it was filled with papers instead of notes. Then the woman understood that someone has cheated her and run away. On opening the handkerchief, the jewellery was also found missing. On the complaint of the woman, the TSI informed the Kotwali police. The police team brought the victim woman to the Kotwali, where she gave a written complaint about the fraud that happened to her.
