New Delhi. Box Office Report: Often films clash at the box office, in which either one benefits or both fail. On October 11, Rajkumar Rao and Tripti Dimri's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' was released. Along with this, Alia Bhatt's 'Jigra' also knocked at the ticket window. 

Who won at the box office?

There was a competition between both the films to rule the hearts of the audience, in which 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' has won from the very beginning. This film, adorned with Rajkummar Rao's funny punchlines and comedy, has entertained the audience a lot. The film is getting love from the audience. It has been 10 days since the release of 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' and 'Jigra'. The report of the Sunday collection of both the films has come out.

This is what happened to 'Jigra'

'Jigra', directed by Vasan Bala, is lagging behind 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' from the first day. The story of the film does not have much strength. Alia Bhatt's style, seen in an action avatar, has not been able to attract the audience much. 

'Jigra' is produced by Dharma Productions. The film which opened at the box office with 4.55 crores, earned 2 crores on the second Sunday of its release. This has made the total collection of the film 27.30 crores.

Audience showed interest in 'Vicky Vidya...'

Rajkumar Rao and Tripti Dimri are seen together for the first time in 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video', directed by Raj Shandilya. Set in the backdrop of Rishikesh, this film is based on the concept of Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) and Vidya's (Tripti Dimri) wedding night CD getting lost. The twists and turns that come in their lives while searching for the CD have made the audience laugh. This low-budget film has managed to collect 30 crores in domestic figures.

Even 'Vettaiyan' could not cause any harm

'Vettaiyan' is getting a good response at the domestic box office. The film has earned more than 100 crores, but its collection in Hindi has not reached above 10 crores. In such a situation, this film from the South could not spoil 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'.
