After the solar eclipse ends, after taking bath etc., one should donate to the poor people according to faith (Surya Grahan Daan). When will the solar eclipse occur?

According to the Panchang, the last solar eclipse of the year is going to take place on the new moon day of Ashwin month i.e. 02 October (Solar Eclipse 2024 Date). This eclipse will not be visible in India. For this reason, its Sutak period will not be valid.

Donate these things

  • After the solar eclipse ends, take a bath and do puja. Donate gram, wheat, jaggery and pulses to poor people according to your faith. It is believed that by doing this, the person gets success in all his works and is protected from the effects of solar eclipse.
  • Apart from this, bananas, gram flour laddus and pedas should also be donated. By doing this, the person gets rid of all kinds of sorrows and pain. Also, happiness and prosperity increase.
  • If you want to increase your status and prestige, then donate lemon and ripe papaya. By doing this, you will get status and prestige. You can also donate red coloured clothes, milk and rice.

Do this work after solar eclipse

  • After the period of solar eclipse, sweep the house and purify it by sprinkling Gangajal. It is believed that by doing this, the negative energies of solar eclipse do not enter the house.
