Raids in Beur Jail Patna : Police conducted a raid in Beur Jail in Patna on Sunday. Danapur ASP and several police station in-charges were involved in the raid. Patna Police conducted this raid to maintain law and order. A large number of police teams led by Danapur ASP reached Beur Jail for the raid.

The raid caused panic among the prisoners in jail

This raid created panic among the prisoners in the jail. Actually, on 21st January, there was a shootout between Anant Singh and Sonu-Monu, after which Anant Singh was sent to Beur jail and Sonu to Phulwari jail. The discussion about Anant Singh intensified due to the police raid in this jail on Sunday evening.

However, it is not known what happened during the raid or what was recovered. After the raid in Beur Jail, ASP Danapur told that the jail was raided with the help of police force from many police stations of Patna. This action was taken to maintain law and order.

Raids were also conducted in the case of Beur Jail Superintendent 

Let us tell you that earlier on January 5, the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) team raided various locations of the Beur Jail Superintendent. After this raid, the Economic Offenses Unit team made many shocking revelations. Beur Jail Superintendent Dr. Vidhu Kumar used to extort money illegally by pressurizing the prisoners, for which many solid evidences have been found. Not only this, Jail Superintendent Dr. Vidhu Kumar used to take money to provide facilities to the domineering prisoners. Along with the Beur Jail Superintendent, warder Prafull Kumar is also involved in this.
