In the last session of the week, the markets opened in the green amid mixed signals. On Friday, the Sensex opened at 78,101.70 with a slight increase of 42.91 points i.e. 0.05%. Nifty opened at 23,625.50 with a gain of 22.20 points i.e. 0.09%. Nifty Bank opened at 50,417.80 with a gain of 35.70 points i.e. 0.07%. During early trading on Friday, Bharti Airtel, Brtiannia Industries, Shriram Finance, UltraTech Cement and Hero MotoCorp topped the list of Nifty's fastest stocks. During early trading, these stocks saw a rise of one to three and a quarter percent. At the same time, Power Grid, ONGC, ITC, SBI and HUL stocks topped the list of weak stocks on Nifty. These stocks showed weakness ranging from 0.87% to 2.9% during early trading.
