According to the Vedic calendar, Lambodar Sankashti Chaturthi is celebrated every year on the Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Magh month. Next year Chaturthi will start on 17 January at 04:06 am and will end on the next day i.e. 18 January at 05:30 am. In Sanatan Dharma, the day is calculated from Udaya Tithi. Hence, Lambodar Sankashti Chaturthi will be celebrated on 17 January.

If we believe the astrologers, Saubhagya Yog is being formed on Lambodar Sankashti Chaturthi . This Yog is formed till 12:57 in the night. On this auspicious occasion, Shivvas Yog is also being formed. On this day, the God of Gods, Mahadev will be seated on Kailash. By worshipping Lord Ganesha in this Yog, all the wishes of the devotee will be fulfilled.
