Ganga Dussehra 2024: According to the Sanatan Panchang, Ganga Dussehra is on June 16. This festival is celebrated every year on the Dashami date of the month of Jyeshtha. Mother Ganga is worshiped on this day. Along with this, worship, chanting and charity are also done. Tarpan and Pinddaan are also done on Ganga Dussehra to give salvation to the ancestors. It is contained in the Sanatan scriptures that Mother Ganga descended on earth to give salvation to the sons of King Sagar in ancient times.
