Vettaiyan movie collected 77.90 crores on the first day. Its collection has seen a decline from the second day. The film earned 45.26 crores on the second day. On the third day, it collected 47.87 crores and now on the fourth day, the film has done a business of 41.32 crores. The total collection of the film has reached 212.35 crores.

What is the story of 'Vettaiyan'?

In this film, Rajinikanth plays the role of a police officer named Athiyan. After the murder of the women, people start protesting on the streets and demand the government to arrest the culprits. The police is also looking for the criminal who targets women. For this, they are also planning an encounter. 

In the film, Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of National Human Rights Commission, Justice Dr. Satyadev Brahmadatt Pandey. Apart from Big B, Fahadh Fasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Kishore, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan also play important roles.
