Pradosh fast has great importance in Sanatan Dharma. On this day, there is a provision to worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. According to the Vedic calendar, the last Pradosh fast of Margashirsha month will be observed on December 13. On this day people observe fast and do devotional worship. It is believed that by observing this fast, one gets the blessings of the Shiva family. Along with this, all sorrows are destroyed. At the same time, according to astrology, many auspicious yogas are being formed on this day (December Pradosh Vrat 2024) .
