Haryana News: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal accused the Haryana government of poisoning the Yamuna water, after which politics has heated up on this issue. Now BJP will go to the Election Commission on Tuesday (January 28) and complain. According to sources, Haryana CM Naib Saini will file a defamation suit against Arvind Kejriwal.
On Tuesday (28 January), a high level delegation of BJP will meet the Election Commission. The Haryana government has rejected the allegations of Aam Aadmi Party. CM Saini has also said that Arvind Kejriwal has a habit of lying and running away. Arvind Kejriwal had promised to clean the Yamuna, which he has not been able to do.
You send your secretary, I will send mine: CM Saini
CM Naib Singh Saini further said, "Arvind Kejriwal sent his chief secretary and I will ask my chief secretary to check the quality of water in Sonipat, from where water (Yamuna) is entering Delhi. He talks of ammonia. He claims water shortage, but there is no shortage. There is a problem in the distribution system."
'Kejriwal should work instead of making allegations'
He also said, "He (Arvind Kejriwal) could not manage water distribution in 10 years. Even though he promised it from the stage, people are still getting polluted water. He should work instead of making allegations. The people of Delhi have made up their mind and they will teach him a lesson."
Shruti Chaudhary also condemned the statement
Apart from CM Saini, Haryana government minister Shruti Chaudhary has also criticized Arvind Kejriwal's statement. She said that this is a very irresponsible statement. There is a possibility of anarchy spreading due to this and after hearing such statements, people should remove such leaders.
He also said that Yamuna water travels a distance of 220 km from Hathinikund Barrage to Wazirabad Barrage and the pollution level in it is 2-3 mg/liter which is equal to zero. This is where Haryana's role ends... Delhi government sends contaminated water back to Haryana which is then sent to Palwal, Faridabad and Mewat districts.
'Should apologize'
Shruti Chaudhary further said that the Center allocated Rs 8000 crore to the Delhi government for cleaning the Yamuna and they did nothing. Now they are trying to mislead the people. Such a statement is very shameful and they should apologize to the people of Delhi and Haryana.
