Chandigarh Hand Grenade Attack Case: After his arrest, Rohan Masih, the accused of grenade attack in Chandigarh, was presented in the Amritsar court on Friday (13 September). The court has sent him on 7-day police remand. Yesterday, after the incident of throwing a hand grenade at a bungalow in Chandigarh, one of the two youths, Rohan Masih, was identified in the CCTV footage. The second accused has also been identified.

 

The accused Rohan Masih is a resident of Pasiyan village of Ramdas in the border area. It is being said that Rohan had received instructions for this grenade attack from a terrorist sitting abroad. The remaining accused in this incident are yet to be arrested.

There is a possibility of many big and important revelations during the interrogation of Rohan Masih, the accused in the Chandigarh grenade attack. However, the police officer did not talk to the media and only said that a pistol has been recovered from him and it is related to the Chandigarh incident.

 

Rohan was arrested from Amritsar

Let us tell you that the main accused of the explosion in a bungalow located in Sector-10 of Chandigarh on Wednesday (September 11) was arrested from Amritsar. According to a PTI report, Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said that the main accused Rohan Masih was arrested from Amritsar. A low intensity explosion took place in a house located in Sector-10 of Chandigarh on Wednesday evening.

 

The house owner had claimed that two people in an auto had thrown a grenade at the house. After which the police and the central agency conducted a joint operation and arrested the accused. According to the police, he has admitted to the grenade attack during interrogation. The arrested accused Rohan Masih is a resident of Paasiyan village in Amritsar. Canada-based gangster Happy Paasiyan is also a resident of this village. 

 

The other partner who threw the grenade has also been identified

His other partner who threw the grenade has also been identified. He is likely to be from Srinagar. It is being told that the second accused of the grenade attack works in a bat manufacturing factory in Kashmir. Both are residents of Punjab. Teams of Punjab and Chandigarh Police are searching for the second accused and are also raiding other states.
