Pitru Paksha (Pitru Paksha 2024) has special significance in Sanatan Dharma. This festival is dedicated to the ancestors. In this, ancestors are worshipped. Also, tarpan and pinddaan are performed daily during Pitru Paksha to give salvation to the ancestors. Pitru Paksha ends on Sarvapitre Amavasya date. It is contained in Garuda Purana that by offering tarpan to the ancestors during Pitru Paksha, ancestors of three generations attain salvation. At the same time, the blessings of the ancestors shower on the person. By their grace, a person gets all kinds of happiness. If you also want to please your ancestors, then definitely offer tarpan to your ancestors during Pitru Paksha. Also chant these mantras at the time of tarpan.
