Lucknow. On Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath summoned Subhaspa national president Om Prakash Rajbhar after the name of NDA ally Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) MLA Bedi Ram came up in the paper leak. Sharing a picture on the social media platform X, Yogi Adityanath's office described the meeting as a courtesy visit, but according to sources, the Chief Minister took the viral video of Bedi Ram on social media very seriously and expressed strong displeasure with Rajbhar.
It is being told that Yogi has asked Panchayati Raj and Minority Department Minister Rajbhar to take action against the MLA at the party level and take strict action if the MLA Bedi Ram is found involved in the paper leak in the investigation. During the meeting with the Chief Minister today, Rajbhar's son and National Chief General Secretary of Subhaspa, Dr. Arvind Rajbhar was also present.
Bedi Ram's video goes viral
While the Yogi government has brought in a strict law regarding paper leak and is busy preparing for fair recruitment of constables, the video of the MLA of the ally party regarding paper leak has created uncomfortable situations for the ruling BJP. After the latest video of Bedi Ram went viral on social media, the matter has taken a political turn.
Congress-SP made a direct attack on BJP
In this case, first Congress and then on Thursday SP has directly attacked BJP regarding Bedi Ram. Both the parties have tried to corner BJP by demanding action against Subhaspa MLA. Before the upcoming assembly by-election, the opposition is trying its best to create an atmosphere against BJP by sharpening this issue. BJP also seems to be on the back foot due to the questions being raised on the MLA of the ally party. BJP leaders are avoiding saying anything in this regard.
OP Rajbhar maintained silence
It is worth noting that the viral picture of the meeting between Yogi and Rajbhar is getting sharp reactions. At the same time, the silence of the talkative Rajbhar in the whole episode is also pointing towards something different brewing inside. When surrounded by media persons, Rajbhar shrugged off the issue by saying that questions should be asked from Bedi Ram only. This is also being seen as a sign of Rajbhar distancing himself from his MLA. After the video surfaced, Bedi Ram kept avoiding the media on Wednesday, but on Thursday he was not seen anywhere.
