PM Awas Yojana Update: Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, now people holding motorcycles can also be considered eligible. Apart from this, Panchayat Secretary and Panchayat Assistant have also been included for the survey in the scheme. This will provide a lot of convenience to the people. Survey work has started under this scheme, due to which new names will also be added. Beneficiaries can self-register on the Awas Plus 2.0 portal till March 31, 2025.

Madhya Pradesh government's Panchayat Minister Prahlad Patel has given important information about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He has said that earlier those who had a motorcycle were declared ineligible for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, but now motorcycle-holding families will also be considered eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

The government has exempted the motorcycle restriction. According to Minister Prahlad Patel, the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has been extended for the next 5 years. Apart from this, Panchayat Secretary and Panchayat Assistant have also been included in the survey team to provide benefits to the people in rural areas. According to the Panchayat Minister, people can also apply online to avail the facility of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana using modern technology.
