Aligarh News Today: Today i.e. Wednesday (2 October), the 155th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi is being celebrated across the country. Various programs are being organized on the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation. On this occasion, a special program was organized on Bapu's birth anniversary in Aligarh.

On Bapu's birth anniversary, a district level special felicitation ceremony was organized at Aligarh's Kalyan Singh Habitat Center under Swachh Bharat Diwas. The state's Sugarcane Development, Sugar Mills Minister and Aligarh District In-charge Minister Lakshmi Narayan Chaudhary participated in this program.

his portrait. In the program, village heads aware of cleanliness, secretaries, panchayat assistants, sanitation friends, 10 TB-free village heads and NGOs doing special work in the field of cleanliness were honored and were sworn in to cleanliness.

In his address at the programme, Aligarh in-charge minister Lakshmi Narayan Chaudhary said, "Mahatma Gandhi used to say that cleanliness is more important than independence. We can make India clean by making continuous efforts." He said, "Today cleanliness has become the biggest mission with public participation and public leadership. The message of cleanliness is reaching everywhere."

'Bapu's movements have been forgotten'
Cabinet Minister Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary said that crores of people have started carrying jute and cloth bags on the issue of single-use plastic. He claimed that after independence, Bapu's movements like cleanliness, Swadeshi, Gram Swaraj were forgotten.

Praising the central government, Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary said, "Prime Minister Modi came forward and picked up the broom and made cleanliness a mass movement by giving the message of cleanliness to everyone." He claimed that whatever campaigns PM Modi started, he made them successful through public cooperation. When the Prime Minister picked up the broom, everyone paid attention to cleanliness and today a large population of the country has become healthy.

Minister Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary said, "Lives of lakhs of people have been saved only by adopting cleanliness. Today people are in a position to stop and object in the matter of cleanliness." He said, "In the conclusion of the Swachhata Seva Pakhwada which has been going on since 17th September, people who have done excellent work are being honored. Cities and villages are being cleaned under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

Krishnapal Singh also addressed this program. He appealed to the people to keep the environment clean and said that garbage should not be thrown outside the house. Krishnapal Singh said that no one can understand cleanliness better than mothers in the family. Cleanliness is an important aspect in their daily routine.
