After the end of Pitru Paksha on the new moon day of Ashwin month, Shardiya Navratri dedicated to Maa Durga begins. Devotees eagerly await the arrival of this festival. On the first day, Ghatasthapana and special worship of Maa Durga is done in the auspicious time. Along with this, sixteen adornments and favorite flowers are offered to Mata Rani. It is believed that by offering these things to Maa Durga, there is happiness and peace in the house. Along with this, the person gets the blessings of Maa Durga. First Day

The first day of Sharadiya Navratri is dedicated to Maa Shailputri . It is believed that Maa Shailputri loves red hibiscus flower and white oleander flower. Including them in the puja brings auspicious results.  

Second Day

On the second day of Sharadiya Navratri, it is customary to worship Maa Brahmacharini. Offering flowers of Banyan tree to Maa Brahmacharini is considered auspicious. By doing this, the person receives the blessings of the mother.

 

Third Day

The third day of Sharadiya Navratri is considered auspicious for Maa Chandraghanta Puja. Maa Chandraghanta loves lotus flower. By including this flower in the puja, the person gets success in all the works.

Fourth Day

The fourth day is dedicated to Maa Kushmanda. Yellow flowers and jasmine flowers should be offered to Maa Kushmanda. It is believed that by doing this, the devotee attains a healthy life.

Day 5

On the fifth day, Maa Skandamata is worshipped. Yellow flowers are used in the worship of Maa Skandamata. By doing this, the devotee receives the blessings of happiness and prosperity.  

Sixth day

Mother Katyayani loves marigold flowers. Mother Katyayani is worshipped on the sixth day. Marigold flowers must be offered to Mother Katyayani.  

seventh day

The seventh day of Sharadiya Navratri is dedicated to Maa Kalratri. Blue coloured flowers should be included in the worship of Maa Kalratri.  

Day 8

There is a tradition of worshipping Maa Mahagauri on the eighth day. Maa Mahagauri loves Mogra flowers very much. It is considered auspicious to include Mogra flowers in the worship on this day. This brings happiness and prosperity in the house.  

Ninth day

The ninth or the last day is dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri. Offering Champa and Hibiscus flowers to Maa Siddhidatri makes the puja successful.
