New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave an interview to PTI. During this, the PM said that he will not accept anyone as a 'special citizen', he accused the Congress of violating the secular spirit of the Constitution.

PM Modi said the description of BJP's weakness in the south is similar to many myths such as BJP being an urban-centric, Bania-Brahmin party. In an interview to PTI, PM Modi said, BJP will be the largest party in the south, NDA is headed to win 400 seats.

I did not say a word against minorities

PM Modi said in the interview that I have not spoken a single word against the minorities. I am speaking against the vote bank politics of the Congress. I am speaking against the Congress working against the Constitution.

The makers of the Indian Constitution, including Babasaheb Ambedkar and Pandit (Jawaharlal) Nehru, decided that reservation will not be given on the basis of religion. Now that you are turning your back on that, it is my responsibility to expose them. The BJP is never against minorities.

4 June, 400 plus- PM Modi

Responding to a PTI question on BJP's strategy in southern and eastern states to achieve the 400-seat target for the NDA, PM Modi said, "Our strategy is the same for the whole country - 'Phir ek baar Modi sarkar' and '4 June, 400 paar'; so there is no difference based on states. If you look at the 2019 (Lok Sabha) election, even then BJP was the largest party in the south. I say it again - this time BJP will be the largest party in the south and its allies will add more (seats) to it."

When asked again if he ever intended to target minorities in his election speeches, he said, "BJP has never been against minorities. Not just today, but never."

After this he said that Congress follows the path of appeasement.

I walk the path of satisfaction- Pee Moji

The Prime Minister said, I walk on the path of satisfaction. (They walk on the path of appeasement, I walk on the path of satisfaction). Their politics is of appeasement. My politics is of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'. We believe in 'Sarva Dharma Sambhaav'. We want to take everyone along. We are not ready to consider anyone as a special citizen but consider everyone equal.

He was also asked whether he really believed that the Congress would actually give away Hindu property to Muslims, or whether it was just a campaign.

Modi said, the question is not about my thinking like this. Campaigning without any logic is a sin. I have never committed such a sin and I would never want to commit it. Such an illogical campaign has been run by them (opposition).

He admitted that on the day the Congress manifesto came out, he had said that it had the stamp of the Muslim League. The Congress party should have replied to me on the same day and said 'Modi ji this is not right'.
