Addressing a meeting on Monday, CM Sarma told the people that 'North India and West India have already given their 100 per cent seats to PM Modi. This time, East India is also in a mood to give all its seats to him. I think things are good for us in Punjab too. You just need to understand that neither the Aam Aadmi Party, nor the Congress, nor Bhagwant Mann nor Rahul Gandhi can give good leadership to Punjab.'

Let us tell you that Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reached Punjab on Monday to file nomination papers for the Lok Sabha elections along with BJP candidate from Patiala Preneet Kaur. During this, he also addressed a public meeting in Patiala.
Voting will be held in a single phase for 13 seats in Punjab. In the seventh and final phase on June 1, voting will take place in Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Khadoor Sahib, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Nandpur Sahib, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, Faridkot, Ferozepur, Bathinda, Sangrur and Patiala constituencies.
