On the other hand, the Indian Meteorological Department has again issued an orange alert warning of heavy rains in eastern Uttar Pradesh on Thursday and Friday. The department estimates that on June 27 and 28, there may be heavy rainfall ranging from 64.5-115.5 mm to very heavy rainfall ranging from 115.5 mm to 204.4 mm at different places in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
