In this connection, after investigation, the police has disclosed the thefts and arrested two inter-state criminals.
What did the police say?
On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal, teams of SOG and Thana police were formed to uncover the theft. These teams were continuously running a campaign to catch the accused. He told that today i.e. on Monday, the police have arrested inter-state accused Charan Singh Ahirwar and Deepak Ahirwar.
Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal said that gold jewellery worth Rs 4.5 lakh and silver jewellery worth Rs 1.5 lakh have been recovered from the accused. He said that apart from this, cash worth Rs 2.10 lakh has been recovered from the accused.
16 cases are registered against the accused
Mahoba Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal said that a case has been registered against both the accused under Section 331 (4), 317 (2) BNS. He said that both of them are vicious criminals and have a long criminal history, against whom 16 cases are already registered. At present, both the criminals have been sent to jail.
