Mahoba News: The government has opened Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra in the district hospital to provide medicines to the poor at affordable prices. But the Jan Aushadhi Kendra opened in Mahoba District Hospital is not only providing medicines to the patients at higher prices, but it is also alleged that medicines are being brought from outside and sold from the Jan Aushadhi Kendra. External medicines have been stored in a room of the hospital itself. On this information, the CMS also inspected the spot and found that a large quantity of cardboard boxes filled with medicines are kept in the hospital room. On which the CMS has ordered an investigation.

Mahoba District Hospital where you must have seen and heard many cases of doctors prescribing medicines from outside, but now to exploit the patients financially, medicines from outside are being sold from the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra itself. Let us tell you that the government opened Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra in the district hospital to make expensive medicines available to the poor at low prices through Jan Aushadhi Kendra, but such a game of commission-grabbing is being played in this Jan Aushadhi Kendra, which is directly affecting the poor patients coming to the district hospital.

Patients are not being given the bill for medicines

It is alleged that the price of medicines available at the said Jan Aushadhi Kendra is higher than the medicines available in medical stores. Also, after taking the medicine, no bill is being given to the patients and their attendants. Allegations of providing medicines at arbitrary prices have been made in the past as well. Yesterday, during the inspection of the Additional Director of Health, medicines from outside the Jan Aushadhi Kendra were hidden in another room.

When it was found out that outside medicines were being sold at higher prices from the Jan Aushadhi Kendra itself. Where a large stock of outside medicines was seen in room number 34 of the district hospital. As soon as the CMS received the complaint, CMS Dr. Pawan Agarwal himself reached the spot and found that apart from the room designated for the Jan Aushadhi Kendra, a large quantity of outside medicines were also stored in another room.

It is alleged that the Jan Aushadhi Kendra operator has stored external medicines and these medicines are being sold to patients and their attendants at higher prices than the Jan Aushadhi Kendra. This is affecting their pockets. The poor and the helpless come to the district hospital with the hope of free treatment, and buy medicines from the Jan Aushadhi Kendra to get good medicines, but here they are being cheated. Contrary to the intention of the government, along with selling medicines at higher prices than the Jan Aushadhi Kendra, external medicines are being sold at higher prices for more profit and commission to the doctors.

Regarding this matter, CMS Dr Pawan Agarwal believes that the medicines must have been hidden during the inspection of the Additional Director of Health. Where the medicines have been kept under lock and key. Instructions have been given to investigate where these medicines came from and who has kept them.
