Maha Kumbh 2025 News: In Maha Kumbh, some stories of young people moving towards sanyaas are also coming to the fore. On one hand, there is IITian Bairagi Baba who has taken renunciation in search of what and why, while on the other hand, a person working in a multinational company has taken the initiation of sanyaas, leaving all the luxuries and comforts due to restless mind.
Swami Jitendranand Saraswati, the national general secretary of Sant Samiti, has recently made an engineer who was disillusioned with a multinational company his disciple. Giving information about his disciple, he said that Vivek was first a banker and then a software engineer, worked in Apple and then after getting disillusioned, he took sanyaas.
He told that his earlier name was Vivek Pandey but after being initiated he has been named as Keshavanand Saraswati. Jitemdranand Saraswati told ABP News that Keshavanand was very mentally disturbed and then he left his job. He left his home for 5 years and went into exile and then returned.
On his return, his family told him to do whatever he wanted but stay at home. During this time, he ran a YouTube channel and during the same time, he researched Swami Jitemdranand Saraswati and asked him several times for an interview. During this time, he met him once and interviewed him.
Disillusioned with the world
Swami Jitendranand said that a week after the interview, Vivek called and said that he wanted to take sanyaas. After this, Swami Jitendranand Saraswati called him and tested him for 3 months, then when he felt that Vivek had become disillusioned with the worldly world, he gave him initiation recently and now he has taken sanyaas.
Keshavanand Saraswati does not want to live in any glamour
Swami Jitemdranand Saraswati said that now Keshavanand does not want to be in public and wants to remain immersed in his devotion while following Sanyas. Keshavanand Saraswati said in the conversation that he does not want to give any interview nor does he want to be in any glamour. His previous world was enough for glamour but he wants to stay close to God.
