Mahakal News: From January, devotees will experience amazing joy through sound and light show in the Mahakaleshwar temple complex of Ujjain. Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh has also warned the shopkeepers who have taken shops in Mahakal Lok. He said that if the shop is not started very soon, the allotment will be cancelled.
Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh inspected Mahakal Lok and Prasadam area of Mahakaleshwar temple on Tuesday. During the inspection, the status of opening of shops which were allotted after auction was observed. Shopkeepers who have not yet started their shops even after allotment were asked to open their shops as soon as possible or else instructions were given to cancel the allotment.
The collector observed the progress of the light and sound show to be started in Mahakal Lok through the Tourism Board. It was told that the light and sound show is likely to start by January 2025.
Shopkeepers got a 7-day warning
Shops have been built in Mahakal Lok keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees. These shops have also been allotted, but the shop operators are not opening the shops. Due to this, the devotees are facing a lot of problems. Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh has given instructions to open the shops within 7 days.
