UP News: After the incident of brutality against a female doctor in Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital, the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has become alert for the safety of doctors. Under which the security of doctors will now be made even more strong. The administration has issued new guidelines in this regard. Now security personnel will also be deployed along with the doctors at night. 

On Tuesday, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh issued instructions to strictly implement the guidelines issued for the safety of doctors. Under this, security personnel will also be present along with paramedical staff along with doctors going from one ward to another to see patients in hospitals and medical colleges of the state. 

 

New guidelines issued in UP hospitals


Under the security of hospitals, security personnel will have to compulsorily patrol different wards, blocks, hostels and different places at night. CCTVs will be installed in every corner of the hospital. These will be monitored 24 hours. According to the number of beds, patients and facilities in the hospital, a post will be made inside the premises and the hospital will be in complete contact with the nearby police post. 

 

Under the new guidelines, additional security forces will be deployed in view of the frequent disputes and possibility of violence in the hospital. Every person coming and going will be monitored. No one will be able to enter or leave the hospital without checking. Bringing any kind of weapon will be prohibited. No one will be able to enter the hospital premises under the influence of alcohol. If such a person is himself a patient, he will be admitted in the presence of security personnel. 

 

Entry of the patient's attendants and common people to the main area will be controlled. Pass will be required to meet the patients. Entry will not be allowed without pass. The Chief Secretary has issued necessary guidelines in this regard to all the hospitals. They have been ordered to be strictly implemented. Security personnel will be hired through Ex-Servicemen Welfare Corporation.
