Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi has been arrested from California, USA on Monday (November 18, 2024). According to information received from sources, a non-bailable warrant was issued against him this month. Anmol's name is involved in many high-profile cases. Anmol's name also came up in the case of the death of NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Baba Siddiqui. Last month, Mumbai Police received information from US officials about Anmol being there, after which Mumbai Police sent a proposal to extradite him.

NIA has also registered two cases against Anmol and is looking for him. NIA has announced a reward on him. On the other hand, Mumbai Police Crime Branch has filed a petition in MCOCA Special Court for his extradition. Let us know important things related to Anmol Bishnoi-

• The National Investigation Agency (NIA) was also looking for Anmol Bishnoi and had also announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh on him. The NIA had registered two cases against him in the year 2022.
• Last month, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch filed a petition in the special court of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), saying that it wanted to start the process for the extradition of fugitive Anmol Bishnoi.

At least 18 criminal cases are registered against Anmol Bishnoi, including the Baba Siddiqui murder case and the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

The NIA has accused Anmol Bishnoi of providing weapons to the killers to kill Moosewala in the year 2022. 

Anmol Bishnoi's name also came up in the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's house Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on April 14. He had taken responsibility for this incident. In the charge sheet filed in this case, Mumbai Police had made Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi accused.
