The entire city is scared of a murder in Mumbai. The murder of famous politician Baba Siddiqui is directly linked to Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. Mumbai Police has claimed in the court that they have found evidence of Bishnoi gang's involvement in this murder. The surprising thing that has come to light is that the role and responsibility of all these people was different. The shooters have told that they were only told the targets by Lawrence gang. No one knows who gave the order for the murder.

Let us tell you that Lawrence Bishnoi gang is becoming a big challenge for the police department along with weakening the law and order. Mumbai Police Crime Branch wants to take Lawrence Bishnoi into custody and interrogate him strictly. Lawrence Bishnoi's name also came up in the case of death threat to Salman Khan and firing outside his house. Since then the police has been demanding custody of Lawrence but it is not easy for Mumbai Police to take him into custody because the order of the Home Ministry is coming in the way.

Why is it difficult to take custody of Lawrence Bishnoi?

Authorities have been facing hurdles in securing his custody from Sabarmati jail because of an order issued last year by the Home Ministry under Section 268(1). This section allows the state government to direct that a person or class of persons shall not be removed from jail, which overrides any order made under Section 267 (power to require attendance of prisoners).

You can interrogate him only by going to Sabarmati Jail

The first order was given on 30 August 2023 under CrPC 268. According to that order, no agency or state police can take custody of Lawrence Bishnoi for one year. The reason behind this is that law and order may deteriorate in bringing and taking Lawrence from jail. Bishnoi is now lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat, agencies or police can interrogate him only by going to Sabarmati Jail. According to sources, that order has been extended for one more year, so it is very likely that now Mumbai Police will not be able to take custody of Lawrence.

How does Lawrence Bishnoi's entire gang operate?

In the 90s, big film producers, builders, actors, directors used to tremble with just one phone call. It was Dawood Ibrahim's voice that used to shake the whole of Mumbai and now Lawrence Bishnoi is a terror. Earlier, he was limited to Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan but now his terror is spreading in Mumbai as well. Dawood may have been based in Dubai but he used to operate Mumbai from there. Lawrence Bishnoi is lodged in Sabarmati Jail. Sources say that Lawrence does not find any other place better or safer than jail, that is why he does not even apply for bail. Anyway, all his businesses and crimes are going on from jail.

• After Lawrence, his closest friend in the gang is Goldy Brar, followed by his cousin Sachin Bishnoi.
• There are many such shooters in the Lawrence gang who get involved in a crime together but do not know each other.
• These people meet at a specific place through someone and then complete their target.
• Their motive behind this is that even if a shooter is caught, he cannot tell much about the others.

The same is happening in this case as well. Lawrence Bishnoi's strength is his criminal business that has spread abroad. Lawrence himself has told all these things to the NIA and the Delhi Police Special Cell.
