UP News: The case of murder of a woman advocate in UP's Kasganj was not yet solved and now a woman advocate in Bareilly attempted self immolation in SSP office. However, the police saved her from doing so in time and started investigating the case. The matter is also viral on social media. 

 

Advocate Shabin Bi, a resident of Haldi Khurd village of Mirganj police station area of ​​Bareilly, reached the SSP office at around 12:30 pm. There she tried to set herself on fire by pouring some inflammable substance on herself. However, the policemen present on the spot saved her from being set on fire. The woman advocate says that the Gram Pradhan of Haldi Khurd village, Rahat Hussain, slaughters cows. She had complained about this, due to which the Gram Pradhan has a grudge against her. On August 24, the Gram Pradhan and 8-10 people accompanying him beat her up and molested her.


 

What was the claim?


The sister of the woman advocate alleges that she complained about this to the police. But the police did not take any action, rather a case was registered against her. Now the police come to her house and threaten to arrest her. It is alleged that the village head threatened her that the police administration will not take any action against me, rather if you complain against me, I will throw acid on you and rape you. 

 

It is alleged that the complaint was made in the police station. Apart from this, complaints were also made several times at the SSP office but their complaints were not heard. On the contrary, a case was registered against them on the complaint of the village head. Now the police is harassing the woman advocate and her family. Being troubled by this, the woman advocate reached the SSP office and tried to commit suicide.

 

In this case, CO City Pankaj Srivastava says that a woman from Haldi Khurd village of Mirganj police station area came to the SSP office. She tried to set herself on fire by pouring inflammable substance on herself. But the staff present on the spot showed alertness and stopped her from doing so. She was sent to the hospital for medical checkup. CO City said that action will be taken after investigation on the basis of her complaint.
