Blinkit AC Delivery: Quick commerce platform Blinkit is continuously expanding its scope. Now with the start of the summer season, the platform has also started the delivery of air conditioners (AC) in Delhi-NCR. The company's CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced this on Saturday.

In a post on social media platform X, Dhindsa said, "The company has partnered with Lloyd India for this service. The post says, "Delivery has already started in Delhi-NCR. It will start in other cities soon. Installation work will also start within 24 hours of delivery." Let us tell you that the company took this step at a time when industry experts said that this year the demand for AC is likely to increase by 25-30 percent to about 14-15 million.

The demand for AC will increase a lot this year

Dhindsa had earlier said in an interview, "Consumers are very interested in ACs, but Q-commerce companies may face big challenges in delivering heavy and high cost products." Dhindsa said, "We had decided in January that we will not sell ACs. But by March, people started searching for ACs 15,000 times a day."

They are also providing instant delivery of AC

E-commerce and electronic retail chains like Croma have also improved their logistics, so that now AC delivery takes less than a day. Croma started same-day delivery facility for ACs and coolers in more than 30 cities in February. Vijay Sales had already started this service, in which ACs and coolers are delivered on the same day for orders placed before 4 pm.

Here, Amazon also delivers AC and other electronics products within 48 hours of ordering. This also includes the facility of free installation. Blinkit started the quick delivery service of coolers last year.
