The makers of Jailer 2 have launched a new teaser of Jailer 2 on the occasion of Pongal. This film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film is a sequel to Jailer released in the year 2023. Through this film, superstar Rajinikanth will once again return to his iconic role.

The makers announced the sequel with a power-packed teaser that features Rajinikanth once again in his violent Muthuvel Pandian avatar. The teaser features Rajinikanth, filmmaker Nelson and music director Anirudh Ravichander.

Will the second part also be a hit like the first part?

However, not much can be guessed about the film by looking at the promo of the film. It is only being considered as Rajinikanth's grand return as a retired jailor. It is expected that this film will rock the box office like the first part. Mohanlal and Shivaraj Kumar are also expected to make a special appearance in it. Apart from Rajinikanth, Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vasantha Ravi, Mirna Menon and Yogi Babu were seen in the first part of Jailor.

The first part of Jailor was launched on 10 August 2023. It was well received by the fans. The film had a net India collection of 343.72 crores while its worldwide gross collection was 605 crores. This film was also directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The story of Jailor was the story of a retired jail warden, who is saddened by the disappearance of his son and assumes him to be dead. After this, he goes on a mission to take revenge.
