JDU Iftar Party: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attended the JDU Daawat-e-Iftar organized at Haj Bhawan, where the Chief Minister was felicitated by presenting him a bouquet, cap and turban. After Iftar, the Roza Namaz was offered, in which all the Rozedars including the Chief Minister who attended the Daawat-e-Iftar prayed for peace, harmony and brotherhood in the state, society and the country.

At the same time, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also welcomed the people who attended the Iftar party. On this occasion, many ministers including Water Resources Minister cum Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar, Rural Works Minister Ashok Chaudhary, Information and Public Relations Minister Maheshwari Hazari, Food and Consumer Protection Minister Lesi Singh participated.

Earlier, major Muslim religious organizations boycotted the Iftar party organized by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar last Sunday. It was written in a letter that JDU is supporting the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024. Therefore, major Muslim religious organizations oppose the Iftar party.

This boycott includes organizations like All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Imarat-e-Sharia, Jamiat Ulema Hind, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Khanqah Mujibiya. Religious organizations say that the purpose of Iftar feast is to promote goodwill and trust. This trust is not built only by formal feasts but by concrete policies and measures. Your government's ignoring the legitimate demands of Muslims makes such formal feasts meaningless.

Let us tell you that in the election year in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has received a big blow from the minority community. On the boycott of CM Nitish's Iftar party by Muslim religious organizations, Minority Welfare Minister Jama Khan said that those who are angry should forget their anger and everyone should join the Iftar.
