On Wednesday, 81 people were killed and 198 injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza. Eight people were killed in an Israeli air force attack on a house in the Al-Jayda town of central Gaza at night, while two people were killed in an air strike in Rafah.

Meanwhile, Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Galant has said that military action in Gaza will continue until more than 100 Israeli hostages are released. Galant said this in a telephone conversation with his American counterpart Lloyd Austin.

Lebanon's Hezbollah, which supports Gaza's Palestinian armed organization Hamas, has said that if Israel attacks its territory and targets innocent civilians, it will also retaliate in Israeli territory. This was said by Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrullah. It is noteworthy that in the last two days, eight people have been killed in Israeli air strikes in Lebanon.
