Ekadashi fast is considered to be one of the major fasts of Hinduism. Ekadashi falling in the Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month is known as Indira Ekadashi. This year this Ekadashi will be celebrated on 28 September. On this day, there is a tradition of worshiping Lord Vishnu. According to beliefs, on this auspicious day, devotees worship Lord Vishnu and observe strict fasting.

Ekadashi comes twice in a month in Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. Today we will know about the rules of Parana of Indira Ekadashi (Indira Ekadashi 2024) and its time, which are as follows.

 

 

Indira Ekadashi 2024 Parana Method (Indira Ekadashi Vrat Parana)

  • Get up early in the morning and take a bath.
  • Wear yellow and clean clothes.
  • Clean your house and temple.
  • Worship Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi properly.
  • Apply tilak of Gopi sandalwood and turmeric.
  • Light a lamp of desi ghee.
  • garland of yellow flowers
  • Offer home-made sweets and seasonal fruits.
  • Chant the mantra 'Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay' 108 times.
  • Perform Aarti with devotion.
  • After the completion of the Puja, end the fast with Prasad or satvik food.
  • Ekadashi fast is broken on Dwadashi Tithi, so you can break your fast at dawn on the day of Dwadashi Tithi.

Ekadashi Paran should not be done at this time

  • Avoid breaking the fast during inauspicious time i.e. Hari Vasara and midday.
  • One should also avoid breaking the fast during Rahukaal.

Indira Ekadashi Parana Time (Indira Ekadashi Parana Time)

According to the Hindu calendar, the Ekadashi date of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will start on Saturday, September 27 at 01:20 pm. At the same time, it will end on Sunday, September 28 at 02:49 pm. Based on the calendar, Indira Ekadashi fast will be observed on September 28.

Along with this, the fast can be broken on September 29 between 06:13 am to 08:36 am.
