Moradabad News: In Thakurdwara area of ​​Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, a thief snatched an ATM card from an old man and ran away. The crowd present on the spot chased and caught the thief and beat him up badly. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and arrested the accused.

This incident took place near Punjab National Bank located in front of Sanatan Dharma Hindu Inter College of Thakurdwara. Ved Prakash Chauhan, a resident of Mohalla Tali Krishna Nagar, had gone to activate his ATM card at the ATM installed here. Meanwhile, a young man already present there snatched his ATM card and started running away.

The crowd beat up the thief badly,
after which Ved Prakash Chauhan also started running after him shouting. Seeing this, the people present on the spot ran after the thief and caught him near Khakeshwar temple. The crowd beat up the accused badly and tied his hands and legs and informed the police about it. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and arrested the thief.

52 ATM cards recovered from the accused
According to the Kotwali police, the accused is a resident of Barlawala, Bajpur, Uttarakhand, his name is said to be Sukhwant Singh. The police have recovered 52 ATM cards of different banks from him. 

The police have registered a case against the accused and started further action. People are feeling unsafe due to the incident that happened in broad daylight.

SP Rural Akash Kumar Singh said that the police has arrested the miscreant who was running away after robbing an old man's ATM with the help of the people. A large number of ATMs have been recovered from him. He said that a case has been registered against the accused and he has been sent to jail. Further investigation is going on in the case.
